Green With Gratitude Smoothie...

What are you grateful for?
Seems like a simple question... But really, when was the last time that you focused your
hearts energy on the things that you have, and not the the things that you want?
When you take time to fully appreciate & have gratitude for the things in life that
normally go unnoticed, you suddenly find yourself fully living in the present.

Personally, the more I practice gratitude, the more I have to be grateful for. 
Take just five minutes a day to rattle off what you are grateful for.
Could be as you stretch before getting out of bed, during meditation, 
on your commute to work, during your evening walk, while you shower,
before you drift off to sleep, or any other pure waking moment.
Start with the things that seem the most fundamental & work up from there.
Once you start practicing gratitude appreciation, you will find it hard to stop listing!
If you are having trouble fighting negative thoughts & answering this question,
I challenge you to try harder. If you can read this right now it means you have
the gift of sight, & that alone is something to be extremely grateful for.

I'm grateful for the things I have in my kitchen that I can throw together to
instantly nourish myself. I'm grateful for the self clean button on my Vitamix (haha!).
I'm grateful for the sensation that I get when my mason jar hits my lips.
I'm grateful for the instant energy I receive from a simple smoothie.
I'm grateful for a green tongue. I'm grateful to be able to share this recipe.
I'm especially grateful for YOU reading this right now...


 
What You'll Need:

- 2-3 leaves of Kale.
- 1 Banana.
- 1 Orange (I used a Valencia).
- 16 oz. Coconut Water.
- 2 oz. Aloe Vera Juice.
- 1 teaspoon of Spirulina.
- 2-3 tablespoons of Hemp Seeds.
- 1 tablespoon of Coconut Flakes.
- About 7 ice cubes.

Makes 34 oz's of green goodness.


Kale is great for cutting down the sweetness of a fruity smoothie.
Not a kale fan? It's cool.
Try substituting with spinach, or adding in some agave or honey to sweeten!


 Add it to the Vitamix & blend up!
